What is the Food Share Program?

 

There is a Share Table in the cafeteria where students can put their unwanted and unopened food. Students can then visit the Share Table and select additional items to eat with their lunch. All food remaining on the table or in the fridge on Friday afternoon will go to the Embry Rucker Homeless Shelter in Reston. This program is only for cafeteria food. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept food from home. Food sharing reduces food waste in the cafeteria and helps address food insecurity in our community.
